School is OPEN today as normal. However we realise the snow showers appear to be very localised. If you live in an affected area, please make your own decisions about whether you need to collect your child at any point during the day. Please let the school office know if you intend to do this.

We are keeping an eye on the forecast for the rest of the week and will update you as necessary.

Weather - 26/02/18

As you will be aware from the media and the weather this morning we have a very cold and potentially difficult week ahead with the weather. This has been dubbed by the media as the Beast from the East and weather warnings that cover much of our catchment are in place.  Therefore I thought it sensible to keep you as well informed as possible. We are, and will, be monitoring the forecasts and the weather warnings as they are updated and will make decisions based upon the protocol that can be found here: PDF icon Bad weather protocol - updated December 2017

The weather system seems to have hit us a little earlier than predicted with localised heavy snowfall. Please do feel able to make your own decisions as to whether you wish to collect your child early today (please let us know if you intend to do this).

As of 10am today we are expecting the transport to run as usual this afternoon.

We will text and post any updates here as well as informing Eagle radio and Surrey if we decide that we need to close, either due to the weather that is here or due to the forecast.

Many thanks

Justin
